Other than this so far this card has shown no problems as of yet.Ĭlick to expand.Correct. I don't know if this has any revelance with the probs ppl are having but its worth knowing.
#RIVATUNER VECTOR 2D PRO#
Its kind of odd as with my last 2 cards in this system a Geforce FX5700 Ultra and an ATI Radeon 9800 Pro this setting appeared to have no effect. There is a hidden option in the system bios "NV/ATI Speed Up", this was set to enabled and was causing the overclock. Anyway after much testing and searching I found the culprit. One funny thing when I ran Aida32 under the Display Headings - "PCI/AGP Video" and "GPU" there are no details shown just a blank page in the right hand pane. I ran DXDIAG and all appears well and my 3DMark score was 22,372(1024x768). I then made a backup of the bios and upon checking it the bios read 370/1000 in the 3D colum, nothing in the 2D colum, so I suspect the bios is correct. I then installed Coolbits to doublecheck this and got the same reading. As you will know this is even higher than the specked rates of 370/1000. This reading was shown for both 2D and 3D settings. To my suprise the Core read 388.1 and the Memory 1053. I just installed my new BFG Geforce 6800GT OC and the card appears to be running fine(if a little hot - 64C(abm-39C) idle) I did come across an issue.Having installed the card I installed Rivatuner, basically to check the clock settings.
